Job summary

Caratlane is seeking a logistics packing professional in Mumbai to ensure secure packing and accurate outward documentation. You will verify items against documentation, coordinate with the Outward Executive, and manage packing materials according to product type.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of packing/dispatch experience, basic MS Excel skills, and knowledge of packaging materials. Jewellery knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any stream.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in packing, dispatch, logistics handling, or a similar operational role.
• Knowledge of jewellery is preferred.
• Basic MS Excel for data entry, tracking and basic reporting.
• Knowledge of packaging materials and techniques for various goods.
• Familiarity with tracking systems used by logistics providers.

Responsibilities

• Execute the secure and appropriate packing of the product.
• Verify the packed items against the Outward Documentation to ensure quantity, barcode, image, product type, and destination accuracy.
• Work closely with the Outward Executive to match physical shipments with all required logistical documents.
• Check packing material properly as product type.
• Generate necessary tracking numbers and confirm pickup schedules to meet dispatch deadlines.
• Communicate with the respective teams for courier partner related points.
