Job summary

Ugaoo Agritech Pvt Ltd in India is seeking a Logistics Executive to coordinate and track day-to-day logistics operations across the country. You will work with transporters, warehouses, vendors and internal teams to ensure timely vehicle placement, smooth movement of shipments and adherence to delivery timelines.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple logistics activities, have strong follow-up skills, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across locations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain or Fleet Operations.
• Proven ability to coordinate with transporters, 3PL vendors or logistics partners.
• Basic understanding of FTL, First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile operations.
• Experience with E-commerce/Quick Commerce logistics is a plus.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

With a growing presence across retail, e-commerce and B2B channels, we are building a strong and efficient logistics network to support our pan-India operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Executive who will be responsible for coordinating and tracking day-to-day logistics operations across India. The role involves coordinating with transporters, warehouses, vendors and internal teams to ensure timely vehicle placement, smooth movement of shipments and adherence to delivery timelines.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling multiple logistics activities simultaneously, have strong follow-up skills, and be able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Placement & Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate daily inbound vehicle placements for vendor purchases to ensure timely unloading at warehouses.
• Coordinate vehicles for Purchase Returns (RTV/PR) and ensure smooth handover to suppliers/vendors.
• Coordinate with warehouses and transporters for vehicle arrival, loading and unloading schedules.
• Track vehicle TAT, dock availability and loading/unloading slots to avoid operational delays.
• Follow up with transporters for delayed, pending or unavailable vehicles.

2. Pan-India Transportation Coordination

• Coordinate First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile transportation movements across India.
• Coordinate FTL vehicle movements for retail stores, warehouses, distribution centres and B2B/E-commerce locations.
• Coordinate with 3PL vendors, transporters and fleet partners for vehicle availability.
• Track shipments and vehicles in transit and ensure timely movement as per the planned schedule.
• Maintain regular communication with transporters and internal teams regarding shipment status.

3. E-Commerce & Quick Commerce Operations

• Coordinate appointment-based deliveries to Quick Commerce and E-commerce partners such as Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Amazon FC, Flipkart FC and other partner locations.
• Coordinate delivery slots and ensure vehicles reach within the scheduled appointment window.
• Follow up on appointment confirmations, gate entry, unloading and delivery completion.
• Coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve gate rejections, appointment issues, detention and delivery delays.

4. Delivery & SLA Tracking

• Track daily deliveries and ensure shipments are delivered within the defined SLA/TAT.
• Monitor key operational metrics such as:
• Vehicle TAT
• On-Time Delivery (OTD)
• In-transit shipments
• Delivery SLA
• Detention
• Maintain daily logistics trackers and provide regular updates to the relevant stakeholders.
• Escalate delays, vehicle breakdowns, gate entry issues and other transit-related challenges.
• Coordinate with transporters, 3PL partners, warehouse teams, vendors and internal stakeholders for smooth logistics operations.
• Follow up with vendors on vehicle placement, shipment movement and delivery status.
• Ensure timely communication and closure of operational issues.
• Support the team in maintaining accurate logistics records and documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, vehicles and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
