Responsibilities

  • Manage global transportation and logistics operations across multiple regions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and providers for timely and cost-effective shipments.
  • Monitor transportation performance, service levels, and logistics costs.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and routing strategies.
  • Develop logistics contracts and manage supplier relationships and performance.
  • Track, report, and forecast logistics spend and transportation KPIs.
  • Ensure on-time delivery for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Coordinate outbound and inbound shipment planning and execution.
  • Maintain lead times and logistics data within ERP/SAP systems.
  • Support new business/projects with logistics feasibility and planning.

Job description

The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end global supply chain operations from door to door. The role requires strong expertise in international logistics, customs regulations, trade compliance, and transportation management across regions including the US, Europe, India, and China.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in import/export operations, freight coordination, transportation optimization, and supplier management, with the ability to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile
  • Manage global transportation and logistics operations across multiple regions.
  • Coordinate with Suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers for

timely and cost-effective shipment movement.

  • Monitor transportation performance, service levels, and logistics costs.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and routing strategies.
  • Develop logistics contracts and manage supplier relationships and performance.
  • Track, report, and forecast logistics spend and transportation KPIs.
  • Ensure on-time delivery performance for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Coordinate outbound and inbound shipment planning and execution.
  • Maintain accurate lead times and logistics data within ERP/SAP systems.
  • Support new business/projects with logistics feasibility and transportation planning.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in transportation and logistics management.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and Incoterms.
  • Experience handling shipments from India, China, UK, and other global locations.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
