Role Overview
At The Sleep Company, smooth and reliable logistics execution is the backbone of our promise to customers across D2C, retail, marketplaces, and quick commerce. We are looking for a Logistics Executive who will own day-to-day dispatch and last-mile operations, coordinate with courier and 3PL partners, and ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods across all channels.
What You'll Do
Dispatch & Last-Mile Coordination
- Coordinate daily dispatch operations including order release, vehicle allocation, and courier handoffs.
- Liaise with last-mile courier partners and 3PL teams to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor dispatch TAT and proactively flag delays or exceptions to relevant stakeholders.
- Support inter-warehouse and retail store transfer movements as needed.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, verify, and maintain all logistics documentation including delivery challans, invoices, PODs, LRs, and freight bills.
- Ensure all dispatch and delivery movements are compliant with statutory and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across systems and physical files.
Tracking & Issue Resolution
- Monitor shipment status in real time across courier and 3PL portals.
- Identify delays, stuck shipments, and delivery failures; coordinate resolution with partners and internal teams.
- Maintain daily trackers for dispatches, pending deliveries, and open escalations.
Reverse Logistics & RTO Management
- Support reverse logistics operations including returns, replacements, and RTO processing.
- Coordinate with courier partners and the warehouse team to ensure timely closure of open return cases.
- Track RTO trends and flag repeat issues for corrective action.
Reporting & Cross-functional Coordination
- Share regular MIS reports on dispatch status, delivery performance, freight costs, and exceptions.
- Work closely with Warehouse, Inventory, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to keep logistics aligned with business needs.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or last-mile operations.
- Hands-on experience coordinating with 3PLs, courier partners, and transporters.
- Familiarity with logistics documentation including PODs, LRs, freight bills, and delivery challans.
- Working knowledge of TMS, WMS, or ERP systems and proficiency in Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tracking and resolving operational issues.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
