Job summary

Expleo Group in India seeks an experienced Policy Admin Systems specialist to support Life Asia/Life400 and related core platforms. Deep insurance domain knowledge, strong integration skills, and a pragmatic automation mindset are essential.

You will lead technical delivery, guide junior IT members, collaborate with product owners, and deliver timely, scalable solutions across underwriting, workflow, and front-end/mobile interfaces.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in Insurance/Financial Industry with ≥5 years on Core Policy Admin systems (Life Asia/Life400).
• Experience with underwriting engine, front-end/mobile apps, and workflow.
• Experience in omnichannel integration.
• Strong environment/release management, code versioning, and deployment practices.
• Knowledge of integrating with Sales Portals, Workflow, underwriting engines.
• Solution-oriented with strong communication.
• Analytical skills and process automation.
• Cross-functional, collaborative team experience.
• Experience with integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is a bonus.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Iterative delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop/deliver engineering deliverables for Products Sales, Customer acquisition and Servicing solutions including Core Applications (Life Asia), CCM Solutions, Underwriting Engines, Workflow, Middleware Integration with Front End/Mobile apps.
• Provide technical solution and guide junior IT members in the team.
• Partner with business product owners to drive Product & Proposition targets or Customer Service deliverables.
• Lead the technical delivery of assigned tasks/projects.
• Build relationships with Delivery leads, other Engineering team members and business users; articulate the technical solution across team.
• Contribute to overall Policy Admin System architecture and design, providing best practices.
• Maintain knowledge of industry verticals and updates to support appropriate solutions.
• Manage timelines and commit to the agreed schedule.
• Collaborate with Business Product Owners, Tech-Delivery Leads and others to define technical designs for launches and post-launch features.
• Finalize the best technical solution for business needs.
• Recommend solutions for issues faced by users.
• Oversee Core Application deliverables for product launches, post-launch features, customer acquisition, servicing and middleware integration.
• Role will be SME for Core applications initiatives.

Deep understanding of Life Policy admins features and functionalities

• 5 - 7 years Insurance/Financial Industry experience with a minimum of 5 years on Supporting Core Policy Admin systems especially Life Asia/Life400.
• knowledge of Surrounding applications like underwriting engine, Front end / mobile applications, and workflow.
• Good experience in omnichannel Integration
• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
• Knowledge of integrating with other surrounding applications around core application like Sales Portals, Workflow, and underwriting engines.
• Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset paired with strong communication skills.
• Very good conceptual and analytical skills and a high motivation to define process automation.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional and collaborative team environment
• Experience in application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodology.

• Work closely with Business Product Owners, Tech-Delivery- Leads and other technical team members to define the technical design for Product Launches, Post launch product features build, Enhancements and other new project initiatives
• Finalizing the best technical solution for the business needs
• Recommending proper solutions for any issues / challenges faced by users
• Oversight of Core Application deliverables for Product launches, Post launch features, customer acquisition, Servicing and Middleware Integration
• This role will be one of the SME for Core application related Initiatives
