Job summary

Prudential Technology And Services in Bengaluru is seeking a Life Asia Developer to enhance and maintain core admin systems and ensure end-to-end software lifecycle robustness. You will collaborate with front-end teams to align IT governance and deliver efficient solutions for business needs.

The role requires deep expertise in Life/400 suites (Life Asia, SMART/400), strong analytical and coordination skills, and fluency in English. Hybrid work mode and immediate joiner are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Higher Degree in Computer Science and engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in AS/400, SMART/400 based insurance applications specialized in Life/400, Life/Asia application.
• Experience in working with Life Asia SOAP APIs
• Develops, customizes, enhances, maintains and supports Life/400, Life/Asia, Integral Life Insurance software application system

Responsibilities

• Enhancement and maintenance of Core admin system
• Collaborate with business teams to understand and suggest best & efficient solution to cater to business needs
• Prepare the technical specification, Maintain and document the changes, Conduct Unit/Integration testing
• Complete the assignments within the agreed deadline
• Quality analysis of the programs/system before acceptance testing
• Work closely with Business Analyst to deliver a robust and error-free application systems
• Ensure that all development and implementation are compliant with IT governance policy
• Technical review and quality analysis of the code done by junior members to ensure learning and motivation for subordinates

• Ensuring the Applications Management function is aligned with company strategy.
