Job summary

Wissen Infotech is seeking a Level 2 Network Engineer to join our enterprise IT team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on operational support, troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of complex networking environments.

You will work with routing and switching technologies, F5 BIG-IP LTM, and Citrix NetScaler to ensure high availability, performance, and security across LAN/WAN/WLAN. Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper devices is preferred and ITIL processes will guide incident handling.

Qualifications

• Experience with routing and switching, including TCP/IP and OSI models.
• Hands-on with F5 BIG-IP LTM and Citrix NetScaler for application delivery.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Routing & Switching (Cisco/Juniper or equivalent).
• Handle incident, problem, and change management per ITIL processes.
• Configure and support F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers (LTM, iRules – basic).
• Manage Citrix NetScaler (ADC) including virtual servers, load balancing, SSL offloading, health monitors.
• Perform network troubleshooting for latency, packet loss, routing loops, and failover issues.
• Work with L3 teams and vendors for complex issues and escalations.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network services.
• Participate in planned maintenance, upgrades, and migrations.
• Create and maintain network documentation, SOPs, and diagrams.

Job Description
