Job summary

Mphasis seeks a contracts professional in Bengaluru to review complex SOWs and amendments, ensuring alignment with MSAs, pricing, SLAs and governance. The role spans risk assessment, commercial viability, and collaboration with Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Legal to support high-value IT engagements.

You'll provide guidance during negotiations, develop standardized review templates, and help mitigate commercial and delivery risks in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsible for reviewing and governing complex Statements of Work (SOWs), Work Orders, and Change Requests to ensure contractual compliance, commercial viability, and risk mitigation, commercial contracts. Partner with Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Legal teams to support high-value IT services engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze complex SOWs, Work Orders, Amendments, and Change Requests.
• Ensure alignment with Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and company policies.
• Identify legal, commercial, operational, and delivery risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Review scope, deliverables, SLAs, milestones, pricing, assumptions, and acceptance criteria.
• Provide contractual guidance to business stakeholders during deal reviews and negotiations.
• Support governance, compliance, and contract lifecycle management processes.
• Develop and maintain SOW review standards, templates, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in reviewing complex IT services contracts and SOWs.
• Knowledge of contract law, risk management, and commercial contracting.
• Understanding of IT services, managed services, cloud, digital transformation, and outsourcing engagements.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
