Job summary

ANB Global seeks a Corporate Legal professional in corporate and commercial law, contract management, and legal advisory. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements, with exposure to IT, technology, cybersecurity, data protection, and international contracts.

Qualifications

• LLB from a recognized university.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Corporate Legal, Commercial Contracts, Contract Management, or a corporate law firm.
• Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation and risk-assessment skills.
• Hands-on experience with commercial and technology-related contracts.
• Knowledge of data protection, confidentiality, cybersecurity, and information-security provisions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial agreements including MSAs, NDAs, SLAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and engagement letters.
• Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters and identify contractual, legal, and business risks.
• Handle technology, IT services, cybersecurity, software, data protection, and service-related agreements.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, customer/vendor negotiations, onboarding, and commercial discussions.
• Review contractual terms relating to liability, indemnity, confidentiality, warranties, termination, governing law, and dispute resolution.
• Manage contract documentation, renewals, amendments, execution, compliance, and legal records.
• Work closely with sales, procurement, technology, finance, HR, and other business teams to support contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel on disputes, notices, regulatory matters, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal opinions, summaries, templates, and standard contractual clauses.
• Support contracts involving India and international jurisdictions including the US, UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, and other markets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• LLB from a recognized university; LLM or specialization in Corporate/Commercial Law is an advantage.
• 36 years of relevant experience in Corporate Legal, Commercial Contracts, Contract Management, or a corporate law firm.
• Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, legal research, and risk-assessment skills.
• Hands-on experience with commercial and technology-related contracts.
• Knowledge of data protection, confidentiality, cybersecurity, and information-security provisions is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and legal matters independently while meeting deadlines.

PREFERRED PROFILE

• Experience in IT, technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, software services, GRC, or other technology-driven organizations.
• Exposure to international clients, cross-border contracts, and multi-jurisdictional legal requirements.
• Commercially aware, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of providing practical legal solutions that support business objectives.
