Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Learning Designer to craft engaging, scalable learning experiences across digital, virtual and face-to-face formats. You will apply instructional design and learning science to create effective learner journeys.

Collaborate with SMEs, academy leads and learning tech teams to develop templates, assets and content, while ensuring quality, consistency and strong visual and interaction design.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in instructional design and learning experience design.
• Hands-on with digital learning content and eLearning journeys.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and digital pedagogy.
• Ability to convert unstructured material into structured content.
• Strong visual, written and interaction design skills.
• Experience with SMEs and multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build digital, virtual and face-to-face learning experiences using PPTs, videos, documents and SME inputs.
• Develop engaging, modular and scalable learning journeys.
• Apply instructional design, adult learning and learning science principles to improve learner experience.
• Create reusable templates, learning assets and content development frameworks.
• Collaborate with SMEs and academy leads to develop learning journeys and content.
• Rapidly prototype, test and iterate learning assets based on learner feedback and usage data.
• Maintain consistency in learning standards, quality, tone and visual design.
• Work closely with learning technology teams to optimise learning platforms and functionality.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in instructional design, learning experience design and digital learning content development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build digital, virtual and face-to-face learning experiences using PPTs, videos, documents and SME inputs.
• Develop engaging, modular and scalable learning journeys.
• Apply instructional design, adult learning and learning science principles to improve learner experience.
• Create reusable templates, learning assets and content development frameworks.
• Collaborate with SMEs and academy leads to develop learning journeys and content.
• Rapidly prototype, test and iterate learning assets based on learner feedback and usage data.
• Maintain consistency in learning standards, quality, tone and visual design.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in Instructional Design / Learning Design / Learning Experience Design.
• Hands-on experience creating digital learning content, eLearning and learning journeys.
• Good understanding of adult learning theory and digital pedagogy.
• Experience working with SMEs and multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.
• Ability to convert unstructured/raw source material into structured learning content.
• Strong visual, written and interaction design skills.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline / Articulate 360 / similar authoring tools.
• Experience with LMS or learning platforms.
• Experience with 360Learning is an added advantage.
• Experience with SuccessFactors or other enterprise learning platforms is desirable.
• Exposure to social, cohort-based or collaborative learning models is a plus.
