Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a skilled Lean Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement across Bengaluru-based manufacturing operations. The role focuses on applying Lean methodologies, optimizing processes, and boosting overall efficiency.

You will lead Kaizen events, conduct Value Stream Mapping, implement 5S, and use Six Sigma (DMAIC) to reduce defects and waste, while training shop floor teams. Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required to drive

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles on the shop floor.
• Hands-on in Kaizen, 5S, and CI projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Implement and sustain CI projects across the shop floor.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Lean Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing Lean methodologies, optimizing processes, and improving overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes
• Implement and sustain continuous improvement (CI) projects across the shop floor
• Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify bottlenecks and eliminate non-value-added activities
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events for process improvements
• Implement and maintain 5S practices to ensure workplace organization and efficiency
• Apply Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC) for defect reduction and quality improvement
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as OEE, cycle time, and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and improve overall operational efficiency
• Train and guide shop floor teams on Lean tools and best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Hands-on experience in Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement
• Good understanding of Six Sigma tools and techniques
• Experience in process optimization and waste reduction
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience in handling improvement projects in a manufacturing setup
• Exposure to Industrial Engineering concepts (time study, line balancing)
