Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field.
• 7-12 years of relevant experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Production Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping and CI.
• Hands-on time study, work measurement, line balancing, capacity planning, and manpower optimization.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and analytical/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial engineering activities across manufacturing operations to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Analyze production processes, workflows, manpower utilization, and capacity to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement process optimization, line balancing, capacity planning, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement projects.
• Conduct time and motion studies and establish standard operating times and manpower requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve production throughput and minimize downtime.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams.
• Develop and monitor key productivity and operational performance metrics.
• Support layout planning, process flow improvements, and effective utilization of resources.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations related to productivity, capacity, and process improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior industrial engineering team members.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies will be an advantage.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing analytics tools.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
