Job summary

Flowserve India Controls is seeking a Lean Leader for Global Engineering Processes & Procedures. This role drives lean transformation across 300+ engineers in 10 global teams working on five product families.

You will build a unified framework for processes and procedures, implement SIPOC flows and value stream maps, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across engineering leaders. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years in lean, strong communication and leadership, and Lean Six Sigma

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Industrial etc); Master's preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in lean process improvement in engineering/manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing lean practices, driving continuous improvement, and productivity gains.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a unified framework for global engineering processes and procedures.
  • Establish world-class SIPOC flows and value stream maps for each business and product family, identifying areas for improvement and driving the elimination of non-value-added activities.
  • Collaborate with global engineering leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and lean thinking across the organization.
  • Document and streamline order engineering workflows, analyzing existing processes and identifying opportunities for optimization and synergy creation.
  • Train and mentor employees to enhance cross-collaboration between product families and teams, enabling the sharing of best practices and knowledge transfer.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to lean initiatives, ensuring progress toward established targets and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in lean methodologies, incorporating them into the organization's strategies where appropriate.

Job description

Role Summary:

As the Lean Leader for Global Engineering Processes & Procedures, you will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of lean practices to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and productivity among our 300+ engineers, spread across 10 global engineering teams working on five distinct product families.

  • Ability to travel internationally as needed to collaborate with global engineering teams.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
