Growth For Impact seeks an experienced leader to strategically manage the end-to-end spare parts business for automobile OEM operations in Bengaluru, ensuring lean inventory and timely distribution to dealers.

You will forecast demand, optimize warehousing, collaborate with Manufacturing/SCM for continual parts supply, and drive pricing strategies, loyalty programs, and aftersales improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, SCM, or Business Administration.
  • 10–12 years of spare parts management experience in automotive OEMs, including ≥5 years in leadership.
  • Proficiency in ERP/DMS and advanced inventory planning tools.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making and deep knowledge of dealer network dynamics.

ROLE
  • – Strategically lead and manage the end‑to‑end spare parts business for automobile OEM operations.
  • – Oversee inventory management, including demand forecasting and optimal inventory holding costs.
  • – Supervise warehouse operations across central and regional distribution centers to ensure lean management and timely dispatch.
  • – Collaborate with Manufacturing and SCM teams to secure consistent supply of genuine components.
  • – Optimize logistics and distribution framework for timely parts delivery to authorized dealer networks.
  • – Serve as the primary escalation point for dealers regarding parts availability, emergency orders, and logistics constraints.
  • – Implement automated ordering systems to streamline dealer procurement processes.
  • – Define and implement strategic commercial pricing structures for spare parts.
  • – Conduct market benchmarking and analyze competitor pricing and aftermarket threats.
  • – Design incentive schemes, loyalty programs, and parts campaigns to boost parts revenue.
  • – Oversee parts warranty evaluation process and manage warranty claims from dealers.
  • – Establish policies for parts return, core exchanges, and disposal of scrap components.
  • – Track early parts failures and collaborate with quality teams to report systematic component defects.
REQUIREMENTS
  • – Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
  • – Minimum 10–12 years of experience in spare parts management within an automobile OEM, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • – Proficiency in ERP systems/DMS and advanced inventory planning tools.
  • – Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • – Data‑driven decision‑making ability.
  • – Deep knowledge of automotive dealer network dynamics.
  • – Ability to multi‑task and handle a dynamic working environment.
