Job summary

Vriba Solutions in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced QA Lead to own both manual and automated testing. You will design test strategies, build and maintain automation frameworks, and mentor the QA team to drive quality across projects.

The role requires strong leadership, 5–7 years in automation, and hands-on experience with UI/API automation, CI/CD, and cloud platforms. On-site in Bengaluru with modern testing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Masters (MCA/MSC) preferred.
• 5–7 years of total experience in automation, software development, and testing.

Role Summary:

• Lead the QA team and take end-to-end ownership of manual and automation testing, including test strategy, framework development, automation implementation, quality assurance, team mentoring, and continuous improvement of QA processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Technical Skills required:

• Strong experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Test Estimation.
• Extensive experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong experience in UI and API Test Automation.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks from scratch.
• Strong experience in BDD using Cucumber, along with hands-on experience in Page Object Model (POM), Keyword-Driven, Data-Driven, and Hybrid
• Automation Frameworks.
• Experience in API Automation using Karate and other API testing frameworks.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution.
• Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Knowledge of test framework design, reusable automation components, reporting, and test execution strategies.
• Ability to lead technical QA initiatives and provide guidance to QA team members on automation best practices.
• Provide technical direction and leadership in establishing and driving the adoption of effective automation testing solutions and have a passion for coaching

Work Experience:

• Minimum 6+ years of total experience in automation, software development, and testing.
• 5+ years of experience in UI and API Test Automation, including developing automated test solutions using open-source automation tools.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in Automation Framework Development, including BDD, Page Object Model (POM), Keyword-Driven, Data-Driven, and Hybrid Frameworks.
• Strong experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimation, and Test Execution.
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile frameworks and Agile delivery environments.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline setup and integration using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Experience in Pull Request (PR) reviews, code reviews, and maintaining automation code quality and standards.
• Experience in tracking and managing test cases and defects using Jira and test management tools such as Zephyr.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with database testing, including SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• 4+ years of leadership experience, including leading, coaching, mentoring, and technically guiding QA team members.
• 7+ years of experience working in a large organization, preferably within Retail and Supply Chain domains.
• Experience driving continuous improvement in Quality People, Quality Processes, and Quality Tools.
