Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior QA Lead / Manual Test Lead with 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably within product-based organizations. The candidate will drive end-to-end quality strategy for our product CX/BX features and releases, ensuring high standards of reliability, usability, and performance. This role requires strong expertise in manual testing, test strategy, test planning, estimation, and test design, along with hands-on experience in API testing, database validation, and enterprise systems testing. Exposure to automation, performance, and security testing will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Leadership

• Own and drive the QA strategy and quality roadmap for product releases.
• Lead test planning, test strategy creation, and estimation for features and releases.
• Ensure high-quality product delivery through structured testing processes.

Management & Execution Test

• Design and review test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Oversee functional, regression, integration, system, UAT and PVT testing.
• Manage defect lifecycle and quality metrics reporting.
• Drive risk-based testing and release readiness assessments.

API & Technical Testing

• Perform API testing using Postman and SOAP UI.
• Validate backend services and integrations.
• Ensure test coverage for microservices and APIs where applicable.

Database Validation

• Perform backend data validation using SQL queries.
• Experience working with relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Validate data integrity, data transformations, and backend workflows.

Enterprise System Testing

• Experience testing SAP systems, specifically CIS (Customer Information System).
• Validate system integrations between SAP and other enterprise applications.

Product Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and UX teams to understand product requirements.
• Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning to ensure testability.
• Advocate for quality-first development practices.

Tools & Test Governance

• Manage test artifacts in TestRail.
• Track defects and collaborate with teams using Jira.
• Ensure proper test documentation and reporting.

Accessibility & Cross-Platform Testing

• Perform ADA accessibility testing.
• Conduct responsive testing across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and guide QA engineers and testers.
• Conduct test case reviews and quality audits.
• Promote best practices in testing and QA processes.

Required Skills & Experience
