Larsen & Toubro Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Supply Chain professional for its Coimbatore Campus. The role focuses on reading drawings with GD&T, supplier development, and cost negotiations across cable harness, sheet metal, and plastics.

Experience in 8–10 years with BE or Diploma is preferred. Candidate will manage planning, inventory, MRP, and SAP/ERP modules to optimize supplier performance and lead cross-functional projects at the Coimbatore site.

• Advanced Excel and KPI analysis, cost reduction targets.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional project management.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret drawings and GD&T to ensure conformance of parts.
• Source and develop suppliers; conduct capability assessments.
• Perform cost analyses, RFQ evaluations and tooling decisions.
• Lead APQP/PPAP processes and supplier audits.
• Manage planning, inventory, and MRP activities.
• Operate SAP/ERP for procurement, BOM and material tracking.
• Analyze data to drive supplier performance and KPI improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Mechanical Drawing & GD&T – Ability to read engineering drawings, tolerances, BOMs and specifications.

Commodity Knowledge – Good understanding of cable harness, injection molding, sheet metal, metal shields, machining, plastics and mechanical hardware.

Supplier Development – Supplier identification, qualification, capability assessment and development.

Costing & Negotiation – Should-cost analysis, RFQ evaluation, price negotiation, tooling/NRE and VA/VE.

Quality Knowledge – APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, 8D, RCA, CAPA and supplier audits.
