Job summary

Anlage Infotech in Mumbai’s Vikhroli area is seeking an insurance accounting professional to manage placement slips, premiums, and debit/credit notes for Cedants and Re-insurers. You will verify policies post-inception, perform sanction checks, and ensure accurate invoicing and tax documentation.

Collaborate with cedents, underwriters, clients, and regulators to maintain smooth operations and compliance, while contributing to process improvements through dashboards and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of insurance services and accounting processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills with client-facing experience.
• Ownership and accountability in handling insurance tasks.
• Team handling experience of 1–2 years mandatory.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare placement slips, generate UMR, calculate premiums, issue debit and credit notes for Cedants and Re-insurers.
• Perform sanction checks on booked accounts, verify policies booked after inception, and organize debit notes, credit notes, and tax invoices for future reference.
• Suggest and implement improvements to accounting processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams, communicate with clients and liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and compliance.

V. Additional Responsibilities:

• Coordinate closely with cedents and underwriters to ensure smooth processing of all transactions, maintaining clear communication and addressing issues promptly.
• Ability to think critically and make sound judgments based on the evidence presented.
• Understanding of best practices in business processes and quality assurance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality and compliance objectives
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills to enhance audit effectiveness.
• Publish dashboards to suggest the improvement in matched and unmatched revenues.
