Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Bengaluru to lead design activities and coordinate BIM-enabled 3D modelling for substations and related projects. The role requires strong hands-on skills with Revit and SolidWorks, with AutoCAD and BIM coordination as beneficial capabilities.

Candidates should be exposed to substation layout, 3D modelling, and installation drawings, with ability to lead design work across tenders and delivery projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Revit and SolidWorks; AutoCAD and BIM coordination preferred.
• Experience with substation/STATCOM layout, 3D modelling, and installation drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities across tenders and delivery projects.
• Coordinate BIM and 3D modelling work.
• Prepare equipment arrangement, assembly, and installation drawings.
• Ensure clearances and foundation inputs are correctly defined.

Key Responsibilities

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline

• Strong hands-on experience with Revit and SolidWorks; AutoCAD and BIM coordination are also beneficial
• Experience in substation or STATCOM layout, 3D modelling, equipment arrangement, assembly and installation drawings, interfaces, clearances, and foundation inputs
• Experience with valve structures, cooling systems, piping, BOQ, and site installation is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently and lead design activities across tenders and delivery projects
