Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced individual for an engineering position focusing on AutoCAD and process engineering. The ideal candidate should possess a Mechanical Engineering degree and have 4 to 6 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in Design, EPC, Oil and Gas, or Petrochemical sectors.

Key responsibilities include drafting with AutoCAD and producing engineering drawings such as PFD and P&ID. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential, as well as proficiency in further technical tools like Plant 3D and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Design/EPC/Oil and Gas/Petrochemical industry.
• Experience in P&ID, isometric drafting, and 3D plant modelling.
• Strong communication skills, including oral presentations and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge in AutoCAD blocks and working with model and layout space.
• Experience with process engineering drawing deliverables such as PFD and P&ID.
• Design knowledge of equipment layout and piping layout in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge in AutoCAD blocks, attributes, working with model space and layout space required.
• Well versed in 2D AutoCAD tool application.
• Previous work experience as an AutoCAD drafter and must have P&ID drafting experience.
• Must understand the tagging philosophy and PID blocks, instrument constructs for various standards.
• Knowledge or working experience in the process engineering drawing deliverables such as PFD, P&ID and 2D Configuration GA drawings.
• Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Process and Water industry experience and design knowledge of equipment layout, piping layout are added advantage.

Required Skills (Technical Competency)

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in related industry (Design/ EPC/ Oil and Gas/ Petrochemical industry).
• Assist with promoting best practice internally.
• Experience working on Tools/ Software: AutoCad, Plant 3D and Solid works.
• Design experience in P&ID, isometric drafting and 3D plant modelling using Plant 3D, PDMS.

Desired Skills

• Experience in an engineering position in Oil and gas/ Petro-chemical.
• Drafting using AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SPPID and piping design will be added advantage.
• Good communication skills – makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.
• Strong written communication skills as well as routine interactions with Project teams.
