Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a data-centric professional to gather technical attributes for machining, sheet metal, mechanical assemblies, and composites. You will use engineering drawings, Teamcenter, and Siemens NX to derive part weights and material calculations while coordinating with engineers and customers on workload planning and project status.

The role requires reading drawings, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to prepare cost estimates for various manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in reading drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of GD&T for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Technical attributes data collection for various machining, sheet metal, mechanical assemblies, and composites parts using engineering drawings, Teamcenter, and Siemens NX.
• Part weight and raw material calculations.
• Leading the engineers in data gathering and clarifications for various mechanical parts.
• Customer interaction for workload planning and project status update.
• Work experience in manufacturing unit/shop floor (mass/batch production) on mechanical components with knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Reading drawings and technical documents, GD&T to prepare estimates.
• Process time calculation and cost break-ups for manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of raw material families and specifications.
• Good oral/written communication, English proficiency, MS Office proficiency.

• Technical attributes data collection for Various Machining, Sheet metal, Mechanical Assemblies, and Composites parts, using Engineering drawing, Team center, and Simens-NX.
• Part weight and Raw material Calculations,
• Leading the engineers in Data gathering and clarifications for Various Mechanical parts,
