Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an experienced CAD/Design Engineer in Bengaluru with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in locomotive, automobile, or heavy industries. You will work on CAD modelling and detailing using NX/UG, manage PMI models, and contribute to drawings and manufacturing documentation.

Applicants should have strong GD&T knowledge, experience with Teamcenter, and the ability to mentor junior engineers. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BE / B-Tech in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in locomotive/automobile/heavy industries is preferred.
• Strong GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFA/DFM/DFS understanding.

• 5-10 years’ experience in the field of CAD modelling & detailing using Solid Works UG NX10 & above


• Work experience in Teamcenter- 11 and above


• Experience in creating Fabrication Models & Drawings


• Experience in Sheet Metal components Models & Drawings


• Expertise in using PMI environment and creating PMI models & Drawings (MBD)


• Experience in Engineering Bill of material creation, update and modification


• Strong knowledge on manufacturing drawings creation and drawing reading skills.


• Knowledge on the Geometric dimension & Tolerance


• Familiarity/Understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME Y14.5


• Problem solving and decision-making skills

• B.E Mechanical /Industrial / Production Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in subsystem / component Design & Development of Locomotive / automobile / heavy industries


• Must have experience in CAD tools NX & Teamcenter


• Should be very good at GD&T, Tolerance stack-up, DFA/DFM/DFS


• Problem solving and decision-making skills
