Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to MV substation design and equipment engineering. You will prepare technical drawings, specifications, RFQs and calculations, and lead discussions with suppliers and project stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on design experience with high voltage apparatus and an ability to drive technical reviews end-to-end within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with reactors, resistors, capacitors, busbars and transformers
• Ability to lead supplier discussions and reviews

Key Responsibilities

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong experience in electrical substation design and MV equipment engineering
• Experience with reactors, resistors, capacitors/capacitor banks, busbars, pre-charge circuits, surge arresters, insulators, transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, CTs, and VTs
• Capability to prepare and review SLDs, specifications, RFQs, calculations, drawings, and supplier documentation
• FACTS/STATCOM or HVDC experience is highly preferred, and familiarity with valve interfaces is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with suppliers and project stakeholders
