Sterlite Power is seeking a proactive Lead Electrical Maintenance professional to oversee and enhance the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production machinery in a metal conductor manufacturing plant. The role demands strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems across continuous and batch processes.

You will lead maintenance of key equipment such as wire drawing and annealing lines, implement predictive maintenance, and drive safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance in metal/cable/wire industries with PLC expertise.

Aufgaben

• Oversee maintenance of plant machinery including wire drawing, annealing, stranding, extrusion lines.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Develop predictive maintenance strategies using vibration analysis and thermal imaging.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in planning machine upgrades, installations, and plant expansions.
• Manage external contractors and vendors for maintenance tasks.
• Analyze equipment performance data to recommend improvements.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Lead Electrical Maintenance to oversee and improve the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production machinery and systems in our metal conductor manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems related to continuous and batch manufacturing processes.

Key Result Areas

• Ensure optimal performance of all plant machinery, including wire drawing machines, annealing units, stranding machines, extrusion lines, and related utilities.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns with minimal production downtime.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies (using vibration analysis, thermal imaging, etc.).
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams to support uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in planning and executing machine upgrades, installations, and plant expansions.
• Manage external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.

Qualifications
