Job summary

Trigyn Technologies Limited is seeking a Lead - System Administration to oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure in Mumbai. You will direct day-to-day operations, manage Windows and Linux servers, AD/DNS/DHCP, and cloud services like Microsoft 365 and Azure, while mentoring a team of system administrators.

You will drive vulnerability remediation, backup and disaster recovery, and change management, ensuring high availability and security across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of relevant enterprise IT infrastructure operations experience.
• Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat or Azure certifications preferred; ITIL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT infrastructure operations across servers, virtualization, storage, backup, cloud and related platforms.
• Oversee administration of Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and identity-related services.
• Oversee Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Azure and other internal cloud services as applicable.
• Manage VMware/Hyper-V virtualization environments and ensure capacity and availability.
• Ensure timely patching, vulnerability remediation, security hardening, monitoring and performance management.
• Oversee backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity activities with periodic validation.
• Drive root cause analyses and preventive actions for recurring incidents.
• Plan server upgrades, migrations and lifecycle management activities.
• Coordinate with network, security, application, database and business teams for infra requirements.
• Maintain infrastructure inventory, licensing records, SOPs, diagrams and ops docs.
• Ensure changes are planned and implemented through change management processes.
• Coordinate with OEMs and support partners for escalations and renewals.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and automation using PowerShell/tools.
• Guide and mentor system administrators and support engineers.

Job Summary

The Lead - System Administration will be responsible for the overall operation, availability and improvement of the organization's internal server and systems infrastructure. The role will lead day-to-day infrastructure operations, coordinate the system administration team and ensure that enterprise platforms are secure, stable, monitored, backed up and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day internal IT infrastructure operations across servers, virtualization, storage, backup, cloud and related platforms.
• Oversee administration of Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and identity-related services.
• Oversee Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Azure and other internal cloud services as applicable.
• Manage VMware/Hyper-V or equivalent virtualization environments and ensure appropriate capacity and availability.
• Ensure timely patching, vulnerability remediation, security hardening, monitoring and performance management.
• Oversee backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity activities, including periodic recovery validation.
• Drive resolution of critical infrastructure incidents and ensure Root Cause Analysis and preventive actions for recurring issues.
• Plan and coordinate server upgrades, migrations, infrastructure refresh and lifecycle management activities.
• Coordinate with network, security, application, database and business teams for infrastructure requirements and issue resolution.
• Maintain infrastructure inventory, licensing records, SOPs, diagrams and operational documentation.
• Ensure changes are planned and implemented through defined change management processes.
• Coordinate with OEMs and support partners for escalations, renewals and technical support.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and automation using PowerShell/scripting or suitable tools.
• Guide and mentor system administrators and support engineers and review operational work where required.
• Ensure infrastructure services meet agreed SLA, availability and security requirements.
