Larsen & Toubro in Maharashtra, India seeks a Lead Engineer to head a team of engineers and modellers for complex instrumentation projects.

You will supervise data sheets, instrument design for RTU, DCS, PLC, F&G and SCADA, review MTOs, guide designers in 3D modelling, and ensure proper inter-discipline coordination and standards compliance.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech (Instrumentation) required.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsabilités

• Checking Data Sheets for instruments and sizing calculations.
• Design and detailed engineering for control systems: RTU, DCS, PLC, F&G and SCADA.
• Checking of MTOs.
• Conversant in 3D Modelling to guide designers.
• Checking Instrument Location Plan drawings, Fire & Gas Detection layout, Cable Tray Layout.
• Coordination with other disciplines for proper information flow.
• Involve in checking inter-discipline documents.
• Proficiency in instrumentation software like SPI, Instrucal, etc. for design.
• Knowledge of international standards.

The candidate shall be able to work as lead engineer, by leading team of Engineers & Modellers.

The Activities Will Include But Not Be Limited To

• Checking of Data Sheet for various Instruments including sizing calculations
• Design and detailed engineering for Control systems: RTU, DCS, PLC, F&G and SCADA Systems
• Checking of MTOs
• Conversant in 3D Modelling to guide designers
• Checking of Instrument Location Plan Drawing, Fire & Gas Detection layout, Cable Tray Layout etc.
• Co-ordination with other disciplines for proper flow of information
• Involve in the checking of inter discipline documents
• Proficiency in using instrumentation software like SPI, Instrucal, etc. for design
• Knowledge of international standards
