Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) in Mumbai is seeking a Lead Instrumentation Engineer to head a team of engineers and modellers for control system design and execution.

The role involves data sheet checks, sizing calculations, control system design (RTU, DCS, PLC, F&G, SCADA), MTO verification, and guidance on 3D modelling with cross-discipline coordination and adherence to international standards.

Competenze

• BE/BTech in Instrumentation is required.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Lead engineer capable of directing a team of engineers and modellers.

Mansioni

• Lead a team of engineers & modellers.
• Check data sheets for various instruments including sizing calculations.
• Design and detailed engineering for Control systems: RTU, DCS, PLC, F&G and SCADA systems.
• Check Material Take Offs (MTOs).

Job Description

The candidate shall be able to work as lead engineer, by leading team of Engineers & Modellers.

The activities will include but not be limited to:

• Checking of Data Sheet for various Instruments including sizing calculations
• Design and detailed engineering for Control systems: RTU, DCS, PLC, F&G and SCADA Systems
• Checking of MTOs
• Conversant in 3D Modelling to guide designers
• Checking of Instrument Location Plan Drawing, Fire & Gas Detection layout, Cable Tray Layout etc.
• Co-ordination with other disciplines for proper flow of information
• Involve in the checking of inter discipline documents
• Proficiency in using instrumentation software like SPI, Instrucal, etc. for design
• Knowledge of international standards

Qualifications:
