Job summary

BioTalent Search Private Limited in Pune invites an Instrumentation Engineer with 0–2 years of hands-on experience to contribute to design and installation of field instrumentation and control systems.

You will review P&IDs, assist in instrument sizing, and work on PLC/DCS/SCADA integration while adhering to ISA/IEC/IS standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
• 0- 2 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation engineering (design/installation).
• Familiarity with PLC, DCS, SCADA, control valves, and transmitters.
• Good understanding of industrial automation, wiring, and signal standards (4–20 mA, HART, Profibus, Modbus, etc.).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/EPLAN for drawing preparation will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and installation of field instrumentation and control systems.
• Review P&IDs, instrument index, loop diagrams, and datasheets.
• Support in selection and sizing of instruments (flow, pressure, level, temperature, etc.).
• Work on control panel design, wiring, and integration with PLC/DCS/SCADA systems.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.
