Job summary

Fortune Personnel Services seeks a Lead Hardware Engineer for our Automation & Controls team in Shirwal. The role leads hardware design and configuration work, ensuring alignment with master references and global regulatory requirements.

You will drive EPLAN, P&ID creation, and BOM generation, collaborating with P&ID and hardware engineers. The position involves onsite work, support during installation, commissioning, and startup with a focus on first-time-right delivery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all hardware engineering activities.
• Verify process inputs for automation project work.
• Create and release EPLAN hardware configurations and BOMs.
• Prepare P&ID from master for pre-sales or execution.
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Coordinate with purchasing for SOB generation.
• Update master templates and documentation (EPLAN, MIDR, P&ID).

Job Objective

Drive project configuration work for hardware controls design in line with Master References, Global Regulatory requirements

Primary Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

1. Monitor and manage all hardware engineering activities.
2. Support the Head Automation & Controls by verifying process inputs, including:

• Approved Project URS deviation list
• Customer-approved Sales Order scope
• Customer-approved P&ID
• Project timelines from PPC

• Manage change requests from Project Management Services, customer and field feedback, and CAPA.
• Maintain and update master templates/documents (EPLAN, MIDR, P&ID).
• Create customer P&ID from master during pre-sales or project execution (Version 1.00 or higher).
• Configure project EPLAN hardware, including:
  • Part list export and Teamcenter part number mapping
  • BOM/Sales Order BOM generation
  • Releasing EPLAN for panel fabrication and machine installation including ITR
• Create and release IIoT tag lists from EPLAN.
• Coordinate with the purchasing team for SOB generation through Teamcenter or ERP.
• Support retrofit and spare parts business (machine lifecycle control).
• Deliver and release EPLAN updates.
• Support validation and QA processes (FS, I/O, ITR documentation).
• Provide support during installation, commissioning, and startup.
