Job description

Responsible for Accounts & Finance at the plant level andsupport in the statutory compliances.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Accounting & Cost:

• Accounts payable
• Maintenance of books ofaccount and reconciliation of cost incurred.
• Monitoring and control ofoverheads cost.
• Fixed assets registermaintenance
• Vetting of capexproposal/Cost saving initiatives.
• Adhere to the commercial compliancesapplicable to the unit & adhere to them to avoid financial implications.

2) Statutory Compliance:

• Indirect tax - Sales Tax,Excise - Assessment, Reco, Return filing.

3) Statutory Audit:

• Co-ordinating with internaland external Auditors.
• Reviewing books of accountsand reports to Head Office as per schedule.
• Monthly financial bookclosing and expenses analysis.l>
• Coordinate the annualindependent audit including preparing financial statements which are audited.

4) MIS (Management InformationSystem):

• To generate MIS reports asand when required.
• Need based support forfunctions like MHD, Commercial etc.
• MIS reports ofFreight/Employee vendor/Vendor Records.

MEASURES

• Cost of noncompliance.
• Percentageof accounts receivables overdue to total accounts receivables
• Budget Vs Actual cost for theplant
• Average time to update MIS.
