Qualifications

• Ability to infer CAE, CFD, and NVH reports.
• Flexible to business needs.
• Basic knowledge of component design calculation.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes and materials used in engines.
• Hands-on experience in root cause analysis of engine components.
• Ability to interpret CAE, CFD & NVH reports and propose design solutions.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools UG NX14 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for engine component handling and benchmarking.
• Design calculations for engine components and DFM review.
• Supplier interaction and resolution of DFM issues.
• Review of DFM, DFA & DFS requirements.
• Design calculation for Engine components.
• Tolerance Stack-up & review of GD&T.
• Supplier interaction and DFM issues closure.
• Understanding the Interface Aggregate requirement and alignment.
• Coordination with CAE & review of simulation.
• Carrying out DFMEA at component level.
• Root Cause Analysis.
• Layout & Interface Review.
