Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited invites a Vehicle Integration Engineer to lead design efforts from kickoff to release. You will craft layout concepts, conduct interface analyses, and ensure CAD models meet GD&T and DFMEA standards.

Your role spans from prototyping collaboration to final documentation and BOM creation. We seek 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automotive systems, with BE/B.Tech in Mechatronics or Mechanical.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automobile or Production engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in vehicle integration or system design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and UG NX with drawing release responsibilities.
• Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, PFMEA, and interface analyses.
• Experience from kickoff to implementation including QFD and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering and design work from kickoff to release.
• Prepare and release drawings, models, and BOMs with quality checks.
• Interface with prototyping teams to optimize vehicle layout and packaging.
• Support CAE and physical validation activities and documentation updates.

Job description

• Experience in CAD Software tools like UG NX, CREO and other desirable softwares.
• Minimum of one project completion experience for a Vehicle or System systems.
• Design Calculations & Kinematic analysis
• GD&T, Tolerance stack up analysis, SDS, SOR
• Boundary Diagram & Interface Matrix (Part of DFMEA)
• Product delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation including QFD, Benchmarking, feature analysis, Engineering drawing, Model preparation and release.
• CAE and Physical Validation support.
• Engineering proposals preparation in consultation within COE / Internal external experts.
• Releasing of drawings and models in systems with related quality checks.
• BOM Preparation
• Creation and updating of Project Documentation related to systems
