Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Chakan, Maharashtra, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for engine components design and packaging requirements. You will collaborate with Engine and Genset DMU, using Teamcenter and PLM tools for tolerance analysis and CAE validation.

BE or ME with 8–9 years of experience is required. Proficiency in Unigraphics NX and a strong background in manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, and machining are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of engine design.
• 3D CAD modeling and drafting; familiarity with Unigraphics NX.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, forging, machining).
• Tolerance stack-up for engine assemblies, systems and components.
• Teamcenter or any PLM tool.
• Knowledge of CAE simulation and validation; DVP adds value.
• Knowledge of RCA methodologies (Why-Why, fishbone, FTA, FMEA).

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

Tolerance stack-up for Engine assembles, systems and components.

Working with Engine and Genset level DMU for component packaging requirements

Good understanding of Engineering drawing, basic Engine caluclation

Experience in Team Center or any PLM tool

Knowledge of CAE simulation and validation , DVP will be an added advantage.

Knowldege of RCA methodologies - Why why anlaysis, Fish bone diagram , fault Tree analysis (FTA), Failure mode & effect analysis (FMEA )is must

Functional Skills

• Basic of Engine Design
• 3D CAD modeling, Drafting - Software Preferred - Unigraphics NX
• Knowledge of Manufactuing processes - casting, forging, machining
• Tolerance stack-up for Engine assembles, systems and components.
