The role involves driving technical feasibility, simulation, and tool design for forging and ring rolling, interpreting customer requirements, and bridging technical planning with internal and external teams.

You will design dies using AutoCAD and Unigraphics NX, validate parameters with ForgeNxT, and contribute to first-time-right manufacturing and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for Ring Rolling and Close Die Forging.
• Ability to prepare costing sheets for Forging/Ring Rolling processes.
• Understanding metallurgical requirements for forged parts and coordinating with customer and metallurgy.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer inputs (drawings, 3D models, specs).
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and RFQ proposals.
• Draft and validate manufacturing processes and parameters in NX and ForgeNxT.
• Prepare technical costing for forging and ring rolling.
• Communicate with customers and internal cross-functional teams.
• Prepare forging and die designs using AutoCAD/NX.
• Support engineering documents and forging trials with first-time-right approach.

Job Summary:

Skilled and detail-oriented Forging Design & Process Engineer (2 to 5 years of experience) to drive the technical feasibility, simulation, and tool design for our forging and ring rolling operations. In this role, you will interpret customer requirements, develop manufacturing processes, and design dies using AutoCAD and Unigraphics NX, while validating parameters via ForgeNxT simulation software. You will bridge the gap between technical planning, internal cross-functional teams, and customers, first-time right forging approach, cost efficiency, and continuous value engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Interprets customer inputs (Drawing, 3D Model, Specification, Standard, Notes).
• Technical Feasibility Study & Proposal Presentation on received RFQ.
• Draft & validate Manufacturing Process & Parameters using Unigraphics NX & ForgeNxT.
• Prepare Technical costing sheet for Forging / Ring Rolling Process.
• Communication with customers & internal Cross Functional Team.
• Forging Drawing & Die Design Drawing Preparation using AutoCAD / Unigraphics NX.
• Prepare Engineering Documents
• Conduct Forging Trial with 1st time right approach.
• Problem Solving & Value Engineering.
• Support juniors & colleague through technical assistance

Qualifications:

• BE – Mechanical / DME
• Experience - 2 to 5 Years
• Preferred experience: Forging (Close Die / Ring Rolling) / Aerospace industry

Skills:

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Process on Ring Rolling & Close Die Forging.
• Costing data & Die Design Preparation
• Basic Knowledge of Machining & Surface Treatment Process.
