Job summary

B Fouress Pvt. Ltd. invites an experienced Senior Engineer Quality Assurance to oversee castings and forgings quality. You will inspect products, verify certificates and ensure traceability across the supply chain.

Your role includes coordinating with suppliers, conducting NDT tests, reviewing drawings and QAP/ITP, and driving root-cause analysis to reduce rejections while maintaining ISO 9001 and related standards.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years in Quality Inspection, preferably Castings & Forgings.
• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical engineering is required.
• Experience with NDT methods UT, MT, PT, RT and heat treatment is preferred.

Senior Engineer Quality Assurance - Castings & Forgings

Company: B Fouress Pvt. Ltd., Hoskote, Bangalore
Qualification: BE/B.Tech/Diploma Mechanical
Experience: 7 -12 years in Quality Inspection, preferably Castings & Forgings

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect castings and forgings for quality, dimensions and defects.
• Check material certificates, heat numbers and traceability.
• Carry out/review NDT UT, MT/MPI, PT/DPT and RT.
• Check heat treatment, hardness, chemical and mechanical properties.
• Inspect critical dimensions, machining allowance and surface finish.
• Review drawings, QAP/ITP and inspection requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs and rejection reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers, foundries, forging vendors, production and QA teams.
• Identify defects and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct supplier/foundry inspections and stage inspections.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, ASTM, EN, IS and customer requirements.
• Maintain proper quality records and material traceability.
• Support continuous improvement and reduction of rejection/rework.

Technical Knowledge

Experience in Hydropower, Turbine, Heavy Engineering, Foundry, Forging or Steel Plant will be preferred.
