Job summary

Aubert & Duval Engineering India seeks an experienced design engineer to shape forging components. You will propose designs for closed die forgings and collaborate with production, quality, project, and customer teams to ensure feasible, customer-aligned designs.

The role involves leading design reviews, mentoring junior designers, and driving process improvements while benchmarking industry practices to deliver reliable forged parts that meet stringent requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 10+ years in forging industry, preferably in the engineering design office.
• Experience in hot forging of aluminium/steel/titanium preferred.
• Aerospace experience is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of forging simulation software is an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to different stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
