Job summary

Sanvijay Green Aluminium in Nagpur is seeking a seasoned Forging Plant Head to lead overall forging plant operations, production, quality, and productivity. You will drive targets, monitor KPIs, manage presses, furnaces, dies, tooling, and manpower, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean practices.

The role requires 15–20 years of forging/manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record in hot/closed-die forging, with preference for automotive

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of forging/manufacturing operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of hot/closed-die forging processes.
• Experience in automotive or engineering component manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, production KPIs, quality systems, and lean manufacturing.
• Good understanding of IATF 16949, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall Forging Plant operations, production, quality, and productivity.
• Achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Manage forging processes, presses, furnaces, dies, tooling, and manpower.
• Monitor OEE, rejection, rework, downtime, yield, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, safety, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and Lean practices.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores, and other departments.
• Drive cost reduction, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead plant audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Develop and manage the plant team and ensure competency development.

• Strong knowledge of plant operations, production KPIs, quality systems, and lean manufacturing.
• Good understanding of IATF 16949, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and safety practices.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and team management skills.
