Job summary

Symbiosis Management Consultants invites a seasoned procurement professional to oversee vendor management, price settlement and quality improvement in forging & gear components. You will evaluate supplier capacity, manage RFQs, and ensure DVP closures with R&D.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, coordination with QA and NPD teams, and the ability to drive supplier performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with suppliers and QA for quality improvement.
• Ability to evaluate supplier capacity and manage RFQ/DPV closures.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Management & Price Settlement: development and commercial competency, tool/Capex estimation, supplier capacity evaluation and RFQ closures.
• Quality Improvement: coordinate with supplier and QA team for quality improvements and monitor supplier performance.

Role & responsibilities

1. Vendor Management & Price Settlement

• Development and commercial strong compentecy of Forging & Gear components
• Technically sound in Forging & Gear manufacturing processes - New projects Tooling/Capex estimation
• Capacity evaluation of suppliers - Floating RFQ, technical synthesis closures, DVP closures with suppliers/R&D
• Should have good knowledge & hold of vendor database

2. Quality Improvement

• Capable enough to coordinate with the supplier and QA team for quality improvement
• Monitor Supplier performance to access ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
• Co-ordination with NPD quality team for sample//APQP/PPAP closures
• Quality & Process Assessment for new Suppliers "
