Job summary

Talent Hired-the Job Store in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is seeking a Lead Engineer - Exterior Trims for automotive R&D to drive cab, body and product system concepts from concept through detailed design, validation and release.

Candidates should have 16–18 years of relevant experience in exterior trims, with strong evidence in PLM, DFMEA, exterior trims, vehicle integration, frame and root cause analysis. Location is Chennai with relocation support and on-site work expected.

Role overview

Develop automotive cab, body and product systems from concept through detailed design, validation and engineering release.

Key responsibilities

Candidate profile

Engineering professional with 16–18 years of relevant experience in Exterior Trims. Strong practical evidence in PLM, DFMEA, exterior trims, vehicle integration, frame, root cause analysis. Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, mobility or an adjacent product-engineering environment is preferred.
