To lead, Guide & assist the team of Job Engineers/3D Modelers/Designers & Other project supporting personnel to execute FEED/Detailed engineering activities in the field of Structural. Minimum 3 Years of experience as Lead Structural Engineer in offshore structures design.

Responsibilities

The role mandates previous experience in offshore platform design and including substructure, topsides and bridges. A comprehensive understanding of structural analysis in the areas of in-place, pre-service, dynamics, collapse analysis, spectral fatigue analysis, fire and explosion design, reliability based analysis, dropped object etc. is essential. Experience in SACS suite of software use and Offshore Structural design Codes and Standards, Specifications is must.

Initiate and oversee specific design tasks performed by Engineers/Designers/3D Modelers relating to offshore structural engineering analysis, design and detailing of topsides and associated substructures. Proficiency in structural engineering of domestic as well as international projects, interacting with domestic/international Clients and third party approving authorities.

Review and guide the team for structural design basis, structural design specifications preparation and to perform various structural analysis viz. Global in-service analyses (in-place, dynamic, fatigue, seismic, pushover etc.), Pre-service analyses (loadout, transportation, launching, floatation &upending, lifting etc.), Local analyses and detailed design of offshore platform appurtenances and details. Structural design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards.

Exposure to FPSO topsides detail engineering with knowledge of all analysis – Inplace, Lift, Damage, loadout, transportation and Reports development– Weight control, Material take-off and bill of material reports.

Conversant with structural steel design and analysis, welding design, stiffened plate, shell finite element analysis and hydrodynamics loading using API, AISC, AWS, DNV, ABS and other applicable codes and standards.
