Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. invites senior automotive design engineers with 10–15 years of experience in shaping vehicle interiors and exteriors. The role focuses on design and development of trims, evaluating technology projects, and creating compelling concept proposals with engineering drawings and 3D annotations.

You will lead the generation of multiple design concepts, build parametric models, and define subsystem parameters based on vehicle architecture and performance constraints. A B.E.

Qualifications

• Experience in design and development of vehicle interior or exterior trims.
• Knowledge of latest technology in automotive industry.
• Ability to create concept proposals and engineering drawings/3D annotations.
• Proven problem solving with first principles thinking and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Generates multiple concepts/proposals to select the most optimum design based on vehicle architecture and constraints.
• Creates parametric models for complex parts/sub-assemblies with accurate dimensions.
• Decides parameters for gathering information at subsystem level and interprets benchmark data to generate proposals.
• Generates multiple alternatives of master sections based on vehicle architecture, benchmarking, strength requirements and other system constraints.
