Job summary

Modern Automotives in Punjab invites an experienced Design Engineer specialized in hot and warm forging to join our design team. You will design dies, create 3D models, and prepare documentation for IATF 16949, APQP and PPAP while aligning with customer drawings.

Proficiency in Creo/Pro-E and AutoCAD, MS Office, and a strong grasp of forging processes are required to optimize tool design, reduce waste, and maintain 5S across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Know-how of Forging process like Hot & Warm Forging.
• Know-how of Forging die design.
• Know-how of Process documentations.
• Know-how of 3D Software Creo / Pro-E.
• Know-how of Auto CAD.
• Proficiency in computing skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• New RFQ Forging parts process feasibility make.
• Make forging drawing from customer drawing & forging process design.
• Do Forging dies design (Bender, Blocker, Finisher, Trim Tool & Coining Die).
• Make 3D Modeling & Assembly (Bender, Blocker, Finisher, Trim Tool & Coining Die).
• Do Forging design simulation.
• Co-ordination with design team members for solving running of operational Issues.
• Minimize the material wastage with better tool design.
• Make process mistake proofing adding with POKA-YOKE.
• Make all documents related to Forging part development.
• Make all documents related to IATF 16949.
• Make all documents related to APQP & PPAP.
• Maintain 5s.

Candidates should have proven expertise in forging component and die/tool design, along with the ability to lead and manage the Design function.
