Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited seeks a Lead Engineer- Electronics to drive testing for Cockpit Electronics, Infotainment, HUD and connected solutions. You will plan tests, create cases and scripts, and execute hardware-in-the-loop tests on automated and manual benches.

Strong focus on CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocols and reporting defects with cross-functional teams. Experience in ISO26262, A-SPICE is preferred; BE/B.Tech in ECE/EEE/E&I and 6–8 years in automotive electronics are ideal.

Qualifications

• Must have 6–8 years of experience in automotive electronics testing.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, case design and h/w-in-the-loop testing.
• Familiarity with ISO26262 and software/hardware safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Test planning, test case generation and script development for infotainment and cockpit electronics.
• Execute hardware-in-the-loop tests on automated and manual test benches.
• Monitor test execution, track defects and support resolution with cross-functional teams.

Lead Engineer- Electronics Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

The tasks correspond to Cockpit Electronics Product Testing - Infotainment, Heads up display and connected solutions Understanding, Setting up/ Modification in the Automated and manual test environment Understanding of Product Specifications and perform requirement Analysis Test planning, test case generation, test script generation and test execution on the hardware in loop test bench setup Test monitoring and reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions
