Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in Chennai seeks an experienced professional to lead end-to-end testing for Automotive Software including ADAS and telematics.

You will define test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project goals, while collaborating with development, systems engineering, and validation teams. The role requires 6–9 years in automotive software testing, with BE/BTech in EEE/ECE/CSE/IT and familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of automotive software testing experience.
• BE/BTech in EEE, ECE, CSE or IT is required.
• Experience with automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities of Automotive Software (ADAS, infotainment, powertrain, telematics).
• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, systems engineering, and validation.
• Manage defect lifecycle and drive root cause analysis with development teams.
• Oversee Test framework inline with customer perspective & to execute UAT Testing at vehicle level
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR
• Mentor and guide a team of test engineers, fostering a culture of quality and innovation
• Prepare and present test metrics, dashboards, and reports to stakeholders
