Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an experienced engineer to own the infotainment system delivery, covering HW/SW interfaces and testing in Chennai. The role requires collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely completion of TSOs.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in automotive infotainment, strong hardware interfacing knowledge, and familiarity with CAN/Diagnostics, functional safety, and cybersecurity considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive infotainment, cluster and connectivity.
• Understanding of hardware interfacing in infotainment systems (display, USB, audio).
• Awareness of functional safety and cybersecurity considerations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infotainment system HW/SW with system delivery accountability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet TSOs and timelines.
• Prepare SORs and SRDs and sign off with suppliers.
• Prepare software and hardware interfacing specifications.
• Participate in vehicle and bench testing.
• Identify root cause analysis (RCA) for defects from testing.
• Manage defects raised in the system.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• 1. Infotainment ,Connectivity , system integration and responsible for the system delivery (HW,SW)
• 2. Colloborate with the CFT and Suppiers to complete the TSO , Timeline alignment.
• 3. Prepare the SORs and SRDs and singoff with the supplier.
• 4. Prepare the SW and HW interfacing specification
• 5. Participates in vehicle testing , bench testing
• 6. Identifies the RCA for the reported defects from various testing stakeholders
• 7. Manages the defects raised in the system

Experience

• 3-5 years in automotive industruy in the area of Cluster, infotainment , Connectivity
• Understand the hardware & Pheripherals interfacing in Infotainment system like (Display, USB, Audio)
• Good working understanding with CAN, Diagnotics
• Awareness about Functional safety and cyber security
• Good knowledge about the AA, CP certifications and Interopeartability testing.
• Good understanding and knowledge about the HW interfacing.
