Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a Hardware Engineer to perform schematic design, validate hardware, and develop automated test tools. The role requires 6–10 years' experience in hardware/industrial electrical design with familiarity in embedded systems and vehicle networks such as CAN and Ethernet.

Travel to support engineering builds is expected. The ideal candidate will have BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in ECE/EEE and related disciplines, with hands-on expertise in analog/digital/high-speed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics & Communications Engineering with 6–10 years in hardware design.
• Experience in analog, digital and high-speed circuit design; embedded systems familiarity.
• CAN and Ethernet vehicle networks; end-to-end hardware development lifecycle knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform schematic design and validate hardware; debug issues.
• Develop automated test tools (LabVIEW, HPVEE).
• Travel to support engineering builds.
• Create test cases and test scenarios and perform related testing.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and teams to describe requirements and features; troubleshoot DV/PV tests.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Perform schematic design
• Validate hardware and debug issues
• Develop automated test tools (labview, HPVEE)
• Travel to Support engineering builds
• Strong Mathematical, Statistical, and/or Physics fundamentals
• Experience designing hardware systems and/or products
• Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design
• Knowledge of engineering practices & patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including
• coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, operations
• Experience in communicating with customers Suppliers, technical, regulatory, business teams and management to collect
• Requirements, describe product features, and technical designs
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem solving skills
• Technologies: ADC/DAC, DDRx, PCIe, JESD, USBx
• Development Tools: Cadence Tools, IBIS, Spice, HFSS, ADS
• Lab Equipment: DMM, Oscilloscope, VNA, Waveform generator, signal analyzer

Key Deliverables:

• Assist in Develop of electrical hardware circuitry
• Contribute to the development of hardware associated specifications and documentation
• Assist in the preparation of associated cost estimates
• Create test cases and test scenarios and perform related testing
• Resolve DV/PV testing issues and modify the circuit

Experience

Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering
discipline with 6-10years of experience
10 years of experience, ideally 6+ years of experience in the field of Hardware / Industrial Electrical design and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with embedded systems and vehicle network architectures (CAN, Ethernet).
