Job summary

Aditya Birla Renewables in India is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering professional to lead execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of utility-scale solar power projects. You will manage AC/DC electrical systems, substations, transmission lines, and SCADA, coordinating with EPC contractors to ensure timely, quality delivery.

The role requires hands-on construction and commissioning of solar plants, including inverters, switchyards, and protection systems.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in Solar EPC project execution.
• Hands-on experience in construction and commissioning of utility-scale solar power plants.
• Experience handling solar projects of 100 MW or higher.
• Knowledge of SAP for material management and invoicing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction and commissioning activities for utility-scale solar power projects.
• Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of Inverters, IDTs, SCB/SMB, Electrical Panels, AC & DC systems, and associated equipment.
• Oversee substation, switchyard, and transmission line execution activities.
• Ensure smooth implementation of SCADA systems, plant earthing, weather monitoring systems, CCTV, and auxiliary electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders for seamless project execution.
• Monitor project quality, safety, cost, and schedule compliance.
• Prepare and review project progress reports and drive milestone achievement.
• Handle contractor billing, JMR certification, invoice verification, material reconciliation, and project documentation.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to ensure timely commissioning and project completion.

About the Role
