Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced MES Consultant in India to lead DELMIA Apriso / Siemens Opcenter implementations for automotive clients. You will design, configure, and integrate MES with SAP ERP and shop-floor systems, while ensuring ISA-95 standards.

You will engage with stakeholders, guide solution design, and support post‑production stabilization across manufacturing environments. Hybrid work options and cross-functional collaboration are available.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in MES, Manufacturing IT, or Digital Manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on expertise in DELMIA Apriso and/or Siemens Opcenter Execution Discrete.
• Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes including Assembly, Body Shop, Paint Shop, and Powertrain.
• Experience integrating MES solutions with SAP ERP and other enterprise applications.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead MES implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects using DELMIA Apriso and/or Siemens Opcenter.
• Configure and customize MES functionalities including Production, Quality Management, Traceability, Work Instructions, and OEE.
• Design and implement integrations between MES and enterprise systems such as SAP ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLCs, and other shop-floor applications.
• Support solution design, testing, deployment, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards and ISA-95 architecture principles.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MES Consultant with expertise in DELMIA Apriso and/or Siemens Opcenter to lead Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementations and digital manufacturing initiatives for automotive clients. This role combines solution design, implementation leadership, stakeholder engagement, and manufacturing domain expertise to deliver next-generation shop-floor solutions.
