Job summary

EXL is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional in Kerala to manage end-to-end AP processes within an insurance-focused environment. The role requires strong analytical skills, ERP proficiency, and the ability to handle vendor master data, PO types, and payment terms with accuracy.

The candidate will analyse invoices, facilitate payments across currencies, perform quality audits, and provide monthly performance reports to stakeholders while mentoring team members and driving process

Qualifications

• Understanding AP functions including invoice processing, payments, vendor master data, and T&E
• Knowledge of ERP systems used for invoice processing, payments, vendor master data and T&E
• Understanding of PO types, goods receipt notes, and details of invoices from vendors
• Knowledge of vendor setup, new vendor creation, vendor modifications and different payment terms
• Experience analysing invoices and expense reports for accuracy and eligibility for payment
• Facilitating payments under different payment terms/currency/bank details and tax conditions
• Performing quality audits for daily, weekly, and monthly transactions
• Monthly preparation of performance reports and discussion with stakeholders
• Acting as liaison between team members and management; addressing issues
• Managing teams and their performance reviews

Responsibilities

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience for AM and 6-8 years for LAM in an insurance process
• 4-8 years prior experience of working in Accounts Payable processes
• Must have done reporting, quality audits & trainings
• Must have client management experience
