Job summary

JobTrade in Hyderabad seeks a Lead Assembly Technician to oversee shop floor assembly, supervise sub-assemblies, and ensure compliance with engineering drawings and SOPs. You will train operators, maintain records, and ensure precise fastening and torque control on all assemblies.

The role requires 3–8 years in mechanical fitting/assembly, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI, and hands-on use of measuring tools. Robotics/automation/SPM experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI is required.
• 3–8 years of experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, quality control, or production.
• Robotics/automation/SPM experience is highly desirable.
• Two-wheeler and four-wheeler workshop experience will be considered.
• Engine or gearbox overhaul experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Experience in engine or gearbox overhaul and OEM/dealer workshops is preferred.
